Oktoberfest & Cemetery Tour

Fun for the whole family. A historic wagon ride thru our cemetary (well, not ours but the city's) introduces you to our ancestors. Historic Cemetery Tours are in the afternoon & evening. Check the Chamber website or call or email us for more info. The Raven's Grin is just a few blocks away -- a nationally-recognized haunted house!

Rte 64/84 Shop Hop

The first two weekends (Fri & Sat) in November are filled with shopping fun from Fulton, to Thomson, To Savanna, Mt Carroll & Lanark. IF you can only do one do the shops @ glenview. Tour of Homes

December 3rd -- all of the Mt. Carroll Merchants invite you to spend the day with them. There will be special sales & goodies. Dickens' characters stroll around downtown (you know, where we are). A wonderful horse-drawn wagon tours our historic village. And, of course, there's Santa, too! Stay two nights and get $10 in boutique bucks!

And NOW the The Driftless Area Stillroom has moved into our first floor. Bring back a bottle of wine to enjoy in your room (or on our porch -- weather permitting). They're great folks!

We are within walking distance of great food and entertainment. Music every weekend downtown. Enjoy pizza, steaks or a chef-prepared meal. We got it all here. So get it here -- but call first!
