Car Cruises - July 23rd, August 20th & September 24th

Right down the street from us. Enjoy music and fabulous cars from 5 to 9 pm. Many shops stay open for your perusal.

Fun for the whole family. A historic wagon ride thru our cemetary (well, not ours but the city's) introduces you to our ancestors. Historic Cemetery Tours are in the afternoon & evening. Check the Chamber website or call or email us for more info. The Raven's Grin is just a few blocks away -- a nationally-recognized haunted house!

Tour of Homes

December 3rd -- all of the Mt. Carroll Merchants invite you to spend the day with them. There will be special sales & goodies. Dickens' characters stroll around downtown (you know, where we are). A wonderful horse-drawn wagon tours our historic village. And, of course, there's Santa, too! Stay two nights and get $10 in boutique bucks!

And NOW the The Driftless Area Stillroom has moved into our first floor. Bring back a bottle of wine to enjoy in your room (or on our porch -- weather permitting). They're great folks!

We recommend Sievert's -- we love to eat there! The pizza is fabuloso and they have other great food, too. And the service? Superb. Just down the street -- you can walk :)
