Dear Mr. and Mrs. DeSpain, I want to thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness during my weekend stay at your hotel. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and the beds were comfy. I am positive that if President Lincoln and his wife were alive, they would certainly pick the Hotel Glenview for their stay! I also loved your store, especially the candles in the back corner (they smelled great!). Thank you again for the restaurant recommendations. Sievert's and the Mount Carroll Cafe were great places to eat and I would also recommend them to anyone visiting your little corner of Illinois. Laura & Larry, I had a lovely stay at the Hotel Glenview and appreciate your hospitality. I'm sure you will do well...especially with your fun personalities! IF I'd had more time, I would have enjoyed a drink with you out on the patio :) I had a great reunion and really miss the country charm of Mount Carroll!
